Welcome to the Elm Dirt family! We have put together a starter guide on how to use our products on your plants at home. We understand there is a variety of plants that have different needs. In this guide, you will find how to use our product on plants and how to properly care for those plants to keep them happy and healthy. We have also included extra tips and tricks.

Plant Juice

Dilution Recommendations

Houseplants 1 -2 ounces per gallon of water

Outdoor Plants and Garden 2 – 3 ounces per gallon of water

Lawn and Bushes 3 ounces per gallon of water

In Ground Trees 1 cup per inch tree diameter with one gallon of water

Potted Trees 2 ounces per gallon of water

Plant Juice is safe for all and all stages of plant life! Plant Juice is concentrated so you will need to dilute before watering your plants. 

Start by shaking the product well. Next, dilute Plant Juice with dechlorinated water for maximum microbial activity. For BEST results using dechlorinated water.

Add Plant Juice to a watering can, foliar spray or hose end sprayer.

Use Plant Juice when you are watering your plants! Be cautious not to over water your plants.

Bloom Juice

Dilution Recommendations

Bloom Juice is safe for all and all stages of plant life! Perfect for blooms. Bloom Juice is concentrated so you will need to dilute before watering your plants. 

Start by shaking the product well. Next, dilute Plant Juice with dechlorinated water for maximum microbial activity. For BEST results using dechlorinated water.

Add Bloom Juice to a watering can, foliar spray or hose end sprayer.

0.5 Ounces = 1 Tablespoon
1 Ounce = 2 Tablespoons
2 Ounces = 4 Tablespoons
1 Gallon = 3.7 Liters

Ancient Soil

In a separate container combined together 20% of Ancient Soil with 80% of a soil medium. Mix well! For measuring Ancient Soil for mixing we recommend measuring in cups. You can also apply Ancient Soil as a top dressing. Apply Ancient Soil every 4-6 weeks only as directed.

Ancient Soil is safe for all and all stages of plant life! Ancient Soil is a soil amendment that you will want to mix with a soil medium. Examples of soil mediums are coco coir, peat moss, potting soil and compost.

Ancient Soil can be used in the garden, transplant holes and potted plants.

3 1/4 cup = 1 pound of Ancient Soil
12 cups of Ancient Soil covers 100 square feet

Bloomin' Soil

You will apply up to a 1/2 inch of Bloomin’ Soil in the garden and on blooming plant indoor and outdoor. For measuring Bloomin’ Soil we recommend measuring in cups. Apply Bloomin’ Soil every 4-6 weeks only as directed.

Bloomin’ Soil is safe for all and all stages of plant life! Bloomin’ Soil is a top dressing.

Add Bloomin’ Soil can be used in the garden, transplant holes and potted plants.

2 3/4 cup = 1 pound of Bloomin’ Soil
3 cups of Bloomin’ Soil cover 1/2 inch for #3 pots

Worm Castings

In a separate container combined together 20% of Worm Castings with 80% of a soil medium. Mix well! For measuring Worm Castings for mixing we recommend measuring in cups. You can also apply Worm Castings as a top dressing. Apply Worm Castings every 4-6 weeks only as directed.

Worm Castings is safe for all and all stages of plant life! You will want to mix Worm Castings with a soil medium. Examples of soil mediums are coco coir, peat moss, potting soil and compost.

Worm Castings can be used in the garden, transplant holes and potted plants.

12 cups of Worm Castings covers 100 square feet
